NC School Report Card Release
February 6, 2015
Dear Parent(s) & Guardian(s):
Once a year we provide you with updates on our school’s achievements through the North Carolina School Report Card. This Report Card includes important information about school and student performance, class sizes, attendance, school safety, instructional resources, and teacher quality. There also is information about how our school measured against federal Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) targets.
This year, School Report Cards include School Performance Grades (A-F) in the areas of Reading, Math and Overall. I am excited to report that Tiller made straight A’s! I am also happy to report high proficiency ratings in Reading, Math and Science. These successes are a tribute to our families, students and of course, our students! Thank you for all that you do to continue to make this school and our students successful!
I have enclosed a summary of our Report Card for the 2013-2014 school year called the Report Card Snapshot. Our school’s full Report Card can be found on the NC School Report Card website at http://www.ncpublicschools.org/src/. I encourage you to review our Report Card carefully, and then feel free to contact me directly to discuss any questions/concerns you may have regarding the Report Card for our school. *Note-the average class sizes were not uploaded to any school across the state due to a glitch in their system.
Thank you for allowing me to share this Report Card with you, and thank you for supporting our efforts to provide your child with a high-quality education.
