Arts Integration

We value the arts and Arts Integration. Our students enjoy art and music 2x weekly!

Art is important to young minds because it helps children develop in many ways, including:
Motor skills
Art activities like drawing, painting, and crafts help children develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as hand-eye coordination.
Creativity
Art projects allow children to use their imagination and bring their ideas to life.
Problem-solving
Children must plan out what they want to create, consider the limitations of their tools, and problem solve.
Confidence
Children can gain confidence in expressing themselves through Visual Arts and Music.
Academic performance
Research shows that arts education can positively impact academic performance, including math and reading scores.
Spatial reasoning
Art can help children learn about patterns, geometrical shapes, symmetry, proportion, and measurement.
Exposure to other topics
Art can expose children to topics like history, geography, math, science, and technology.
